How to compare L.A.B. Golf putters for accuracy

Define accuracy before testing

Separate three outcomes: where you aim, where the ball starts and how far it rolls. A putter can look easy to align yet produce inconsistent pace, or feel comfortable while pointing away from the intended line.

Control the variables

Use one ball model and the same routine. Hit alternating sets with your current putter and each candidate. Test straight short putts, medium putts and long putts. Mark strike location where practical and record typical misses rather than counting only makes.

Score a nine-putt comparison

Choose a straight starting line and hit three putts from roughly one, three and eight metres with each candidate. At short range, note left or right start; at middle range, note strike location; at long range, measure how far the ball finishes from the target. Repeat in alternating order. A head that holes one long putt but leaves the other two far away is less convincing than a tight group.
