There is no single standard price for a putter fitting. Session length, measurement depth, facility access and included adjustments can all change the quoted fee.

What the fee may cover

A quote may cover assessment only, assessment plus a written specification, or a credit towards equipment. Adjustments, components and installation may be separate. Ask whether follow-up verification is included.

How to compare quotes

Put the same items beside each fee: session duration, baseline measurement, range of adjustments or test putters, written results and post-fit support. A cheaper session can cost more overall if the recommended build must be sourced elsewhere.

Compare an itemised hypothetical

One quote might cover a 45-minute assessment and emailed specifications. Another might include a longer comparison, measurement of your current putter and one follow-up check, while workshop adjustment and parts remain separate. Neither is automatically better; match the inclusions to the decision you need to make.
